.: transformed :.
"Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world." James 1:27 (NASB)
Transformed International is a two-fold non profit organization committed to changing lives around the world: First, to meet the needs of orphans, widows and the poor in the third world, and second, to bring young adults from developed countries to be transformed in a life changing experience while serving in the third world.
Transformed International was founded in May of 2006. The organization is based in Kitale Kenya but reaches many corners of the country. Transformed International is registered as a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization in the U.S. and a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Kenya.
In Canada, Transformed International is operated by Assists Projects, a non profit Ontario Corporation registered by Canada Revenue Agency as a charity ( #
888702669RR0001); it is an affiliate member of CCCC.
Thanks to A.P and our friends at ReACT Kenya (www.reactkenya.com), Transformed International is able to provide all donors in Canada with charitable receipts for any donation over $25. Cheques in Canada, should be made payable to ASSISTS PROJECTS with "ReACT Kenya - name of child" in the memo line of the cheque, in order to receive the charitable receipt. ReACT Kenya is a partner of Transformed International's in Kenya and we thank ReACT Kenya for assisting our donors in Canada.
Transformed International realizes the astronomical task and crisis in the third world. Transformed International also realizes that no individual, group, organization or country can tackle such tasks alone. Rather, we are to join forces with one another and work towards a world of less suffering. This can only be done by partnering with other ministries, organizations and individuals, working towards the same goal.
